MARUSHCHENKO Olexandr Volodymyrovych

Born May 27, 1960 graduated from the Vasyl Stefanyk Ivano-Frankivsk State Pedagogical Institute. In 1987 – 1990 graduated from Taras Shevchenko Kiev State University. In 1999-2002- was searching for doctoral degree at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Is working on completion of his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Ukraine in World War II: the modern domestic historiography”. Member of the Scientific Society by T. Shevchenko. Excellence in Education of Ukraine.

 

VELYKOCHYY Volodymyr Stepanovych
Doctor of History, Professor

Author of over 30 scientific works, including 12 monographs, textbooks and manuals. In 1999 he defended his thesis on specialty 07.00.06 – historiography, source study and special historical disciplines on “History of ZUNR: sources to study the public construction.” Field of scientific interest: “Ukrainian revolution of 1917-1920”. Currently he holds the position of Director of the Institute of Tourism Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. In 2009 published the monograph “Ukrainian historiography of socio-political processes in Galicia 1914-1919”. In 2010 he successfully defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences at the Institute of History of Ukraine on “Ukrainian historiography socio-political processes in Galicia 1914-1919: formation, conditions, stages of development, especially the” specialty 07.00.06 – historiography, source study and special historical disciplines.

He was awarded by the Order of St. Volodymyr of the third degree, by State Tourism Administration of Ukraine as “Honored Worker of tourism in Ukraine,” the breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Excellence in Education of Ukraine” (2008), honorary ethnographer of Ukraine (2011), corresponding member of the Academy of Tourism in Ukraine (2012).
SOYA Mykola Mykhailovych
Ph.D., professor, honored worker of Ukraine

Professor, Ph.D., Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine. He graduated from the historical faculty of the Vasyl Stefanyk Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute . From 1983 to 1986 he studied at the graduate school of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in Moscow in Scientific Research Institute of Problems of Education, where he defended his thesis. Is conducting lectures on the “History of Ukrainian and foreign culture”, “History of Education”, “Methods of social and educational work.” Currently holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education.

 

DEREVYANKO Sergiy Myronovych
Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor

Born 01.03. 1960, Old Bogorodchany Bogorodchany district of Ivano-Frankivsk region – graduated from the history faculty of the Vasyl Stefanyk Ivano-Frankivsk State Pedagogical Institute in 1982 with honors, was a postgraduate student of the historical faculty of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University in 1990.

In the years 1984-1993 – lecturer in social sciences of Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute, then – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor of Ancient History and Middle Ages, world history, dean of faculty of training in the preparing for entrance to the institute, director of the Humanities Institute at the University, in 1998 – 2005 years – Deputy Rector for Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. From December 2005 to December 2008 – doctoral student at the Department of Constitutional Law and Local Government Institute of State and Law. From December 2008 – Professor of historiography and source university.
Worked out and taught the following courses “Introduction to speciality”, “Archival Study”, “Historical Geography”, “Special Historical Subjects,” “Chronology. Theory. Methodology. Methodology “,” Historiography. Theory. Methodology. Methodology “,” Historiography of world history of the twentieth century”. .
A member of the specialized scientific council K 20.051.05 from 2003 to 2008. Supervises graduate students.
Explores the origins and history of Western Ukraine historiography of the twentieth century, constitutional and legal principles of referendums in Ukraine. Author of scientific papers, textbooks on history, historiography and source studies, political science and constitutional law.

 

SHOLOGON Liliya Ivanivna

Ph.D., associate professor

Graduated from Chernivtsi National University. Defended her thesis on “the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society of Galicia and Bukovina in 80’s. XIX – early XX century”. Specialty 07.00.01 – History of Ukraine. Research interests – “Sources of the history of the national cultural life in Ukrainian Galicia (1848-1914).” Works as a scientific secretary of the Institute of History, Political Science and International Relations of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Teaches normative courses: “Introduction to specialty”, “Special Historical Subjects: Language and Writing”, “Special Historical Subjects: objects and symbols”, a specialized course on “National-cultural movement Ukrainian Galicia (1848 – 1914 years.): Sources and historiography. ”

 

Stefanyuk Galyna

Ph.D., associate professor

 

Born on26.05.1971in the villageHarasymiv of Tlumachdistrict of Ivano-Frankivsk region. In1999graduated from thehistory departmentof the VasylStefanik Precarpathian University.In October2004she defended her thesison “Schooling in WesternUkraineduring the German occupation(1941 -1944)”. Engaged inresearching ofactual problems ofthe history of WorldWar II,Galiciansocietyduring theNazioccupation of Galiciain 1941-1944.

On October 16 until December 3, 2019, she completed the courses for improvement of professional performance on «History of World War ІІ: Methodology and Source Studies» at the Department of History of Ukraine at the Institute of History of Ukraine, NAS of Ukraine. At the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, namely in the specialty 032 History and Archeology, she teaches the disciplines «Source Studies and Archival Studies», «Historical Geography», «Source of History of Ukraine», «Theory and Methods of Scientific Research», as well as special courses on the «Ethnopolitical Processes in Western Ukraine during the Second World War. Sources and Historiography» . In the specialty 014 Secondary Education (History) she teacher the disciplines «Source Studies and Archival Studies», «Historical Geography in History Classes at the Secondary School», «Source of History of Ukraine an School Education», «Theory and Methods of Scientific Research» and «Scientific seminar».

 

KindrachukNadiyaMyroslavivna

Ph.D., associate professor

 

In 2001 she entered the historical faculty of the Odessa National University and in 2006 got a master’s degree in history. After graduation worked as a teacher of history and law at the Lyceum in Odessa. From 2006 to 2009 she studied at the postgraduate school of Odessa National Polytechnic University, where she worked as assistant of deprtment of history and ethnography of Ukraine. In 2010 she defended her thesis on “Fighting of the People’s Movement for the independence of Ukraine: 1989 – 1991”, specialty 07.00.01 – History of Ukraine. Since September 2010 –associate professor at VasylStefanik Precarpathian National University. The author of 35 scientific papers.

 

Dovgan Yuriy Lyubomyrovych

29.05.2006defended his thesis: “The policy ofFrance, Britainand the USA onnational independence of Ukrainein1917-1920. InUkrainiandomestic andforeign historiography” at the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv Nationl University. Research interests- Historiography of Ukrainianrevolution of 1917-1920., Military history, arms study and uniformistyka.
